  The items they sell are of poor quality and were not properly fixed. I purchased a bass from there, and I have had nothing but problems with it. First it was the battery prongs were not attached properly, then it was a strange feedback sound I got from the bass since the first day I purchased it (that I was recently able to diagnose by using a new amp to play the bass with), which was from a certain electronic part loose in the bass, and finally, there are two prongs that connect to the quarter inch cable that were not welded in properly, hence why I am getting it repaired now at another retailer I go to (that unfortunately is more trustworthy than this establishment). The attitude of the shop owners was not amiable, and unless I was purchasing a product, the clerk would often come off brash and with an attitude. The clerk blamed me for the reason why the battery prongs came off, but prior to that, we had discovered that they were only being held onto by the wires that are supposed to bring power throughout the bass. Ultimately, I like the bass I purchased, but I hate their manner of dealing with the situation, and their incompetence in selling me a broken instrument. Prior to me finally taking the bass home, the clerk put a new battery in it, and "checked it" to ensure that it was fine, yet my problems happened immediately when I arrived home. I thought I had to invest in a new amp, which fortunately for me, works perfectly, and I didn't purchase it at this establishment. That is why I give them 2 stars, one for the service I received when I purchased the bass, which was amiable, and deducted the other three stars due to their lack of quality service when dealing with non-purchasing customers, and their incompetence in selling me a broken instrument, that is now going to have to come out of my pocket.
  Another thing I would like to address, after choosing not to link this account to my artist account, for negative contingencies I can only presuppose due to the service and attitude of the clerk, who might be reading this, is the alarming amount of familiarity I see in the reviews. Every review I see posted is relatively familiar, and from what I can assume, by locals and frequent patrons. Many of the reviews are quite familiar with the owner/clerk, the gentleman whom is most likely referred to as "Roger." To that I say this: I was not a frequent customer of Roger's before I purchased the instrument, thus giving him money for it. I was not a local, however, the store is within a reasonable distance from my home. I could not care less if it was Roger I dealt with at the guitar shop, or a clerk hired by Roger. The service I got was terrible, unless I was giving them money, and in the case that Roger wants to run a good instrument store, he should at the very least check the instruments he obtains and fix them so customers can get a satisfactory instrument. I now have the impression to believe two things based upon this amount of incompetence: 1) This "Roger" fellow is a shady business man; or 2) This "Roger" fellow is irresponsible and incompetent in checking and ensuring that his products are not worn out, damaged, or of just poor quality.
  It is a shame, too, because I support small businesses and local endeavors, and this business is relatively small. But it is clear to me that this man is not a good business owner, nor are his products and service to even my lower standards of quality. I shall take my business elsewhere from now on.
